User name: your full email address. Password: your mailbox password.

Authentication: normal password. Outgoing mail always needs the user name and password. With POP3, keep a copy of messages on the server for 14 days, so webmail and your phone still show recent mail.

iPhone, iPad and Mac
Open the downloaded profile and install it: on iPhone and iPad in Settings, on a Mac in System Settings, Privacy & Security, Profiles. You are asked for your password during the installation. The profile also adds your calendar and contacts.
Other programs
- Thunderbird sets itself up from your email address and password.
- Outlook: choose IMAP and enter the settings above by hand.
